Product Manager

Product Manager

Rising Team is looking for a product manager to help envision, develop, and optimize products that empower managers to build more engaged, connected, successful teams. This will be an exciting opportunity to contribute at an early stage start-up, make a positive impact, learn a tremendous amount, and grow quickly with excellent coaching and collaboration. This role will work directly with our founder, Jennifer Dulski.

In addition to traditional product management responsibilities, this role is an opportunity to contribute on a variety of levels to all aspects of the customer journey. The role will also provide project management and cross-functional team leadership across product, engineering, design, user research, customer success and growth.

What You'll Do:

  • Understand our mission and our customers
  • Facilitate user research to gather customer needs and product feedback 
  • Lead product roadmapping and feature brainstorms
  • Help prioritize what we build using analysis and judgment
  • Partner with Design and Engineering to scope and build products 
  • Create and implement product development practices that help us work efficiently, including “air traffic control” for major launches
  • Lead the QA and user feedback process before new feature launches
  • Measure and optimize key product flows
  • Help develop user-facing product messaging, including automated emails that respond to product flows and drive product adoption.

What You'll Need:

  • Excitement about transforming the workplace through better managers. Previous experience leading teams is a plus. 
  • A track record of strong execution, with exceptional organizational, analytical, and both written and verbal communication skills
  • Bias towards taking action, ability to produce and iterate quickly and efficiently in a dynamic setting
  • Readiness to pitch in on a wide range of areas beyond more traditional product management—user research, analytics, product and email content—whatever it takes to ship the ultimate user experience
  • Adaptability to bounce back when things don’t go as planned, and keep moving forward towards our vision.
  • Flexible attitude and willingness to jump in, learn new things, and grow
  • Remote applicants are welcome; our preferred time zones are Pacific Time +/- 2 hours
